number 1, what you are attempting is illegal...basically it's fraud. the moral side of the coin is: how would you feel if that "pristine 98 GT with 32,000 original miles" you just bought actually had 80,000 miles?

number 2, the dealer/service tech can plug a computer up to your car and tell exactly how many miles are on it. this you cant beat unless you fork over the cash to replace the entire brain of the car
