Mustang92, etc, get in here!
Since you've taken it almost to the limit of NA mod performance, I'm wondering if you've had any thoughts about trying out the new intake spacers I've been reading about. One of the mustang mags got like 10rwhp on a mildly modded GT! You have any thoughts on this mod? I'm asking cause I've about used up the bolt ons, and I'm thinking about maybe trying this one. It sells for $199.

It was in 5.0 Mustang. Actually I think they got around 15 rw ponies(Sounds bogus). You're talking about the spacer from Paul's High Performance, right? Kinda a rip off but it seems to work.

First off yes it is highly overpriced and for that reason I do not like them. Second yes there is power to be gained however one of the Corral members installed one in his modified GT and picked up 2RWHP and 2RWTQ not exactly impressive. You can't believe everything in the magazines since the majority of the testing is baised to the produce. They give the car more cool down time or don't dyno the cars on the same day, etc...
So bascially I think the spacer is a waste for such little gains on a modified car. If it was like $60 it may be worth trying out and experimenting with. Bill
