Thumbs up My first post!

Hello Mustang owners!

It has taken me a week to find a board like this. I just purchased a '02 True Blue GT coupe last friday, and love it! It's been 5 years since I sold my '85 GT, and I couldn't wait to get back in one!

My first question.....I'm getting a new cat-back system within the next few weeks. I'm torn between the Flowmaster Force II and the American Thunder. I want a nice sound but not too annoying. Any suggestions?

WELCOME!

American Thuder sounds great! not to loud until about 1800 to 2200 rpm. Before and after it is a nice sound. Of course when you get on it - whaaaaambaaaa!! I've got a vert and the sound is not annoying, but you have alot of choices and everyone has their own like/dislike/opinions.

Have fun!

Is the American Thunder Flowmaster??

(I had Borla on my 5.0 94 GT and it was a nice sound, but not loud enough for me. It was a mild but powerful sound. Downside was that any fart can that pulled next to me seemed louder... maybe it was just me).

Welcome! Have fun and good luck!!!

I have an American Thunder cat-back on my '96 GT and although i nearly wet my pants when i first got it, its too quiet now. Sometimes i think i cant hear it. Im getting an X-pipe soon, to kick it up a notch.
