![]() The 2002 seems to be a bit different than my 2000 in torque levels. With my old one I used to basicaly launch from IDLE or else the car would spin out too easy. With the new one I have to rev up to 1600 - 1800 or else it bogs out on launch.
Might be caused by the engine not being settled yet.... I don't know. As for the rest of the technic, it all depends on the conditions of the track. If you can slam into second without wheel spin, powershift every gear (pedal to the metal clutching and shifting). If there is wheel spin then you have to slip the clutch on first to second shift. The best thing I can tell you, is once you 60ft times are in the low 2.1 to high 2.0, all you need to work on is the speed of shifting, type of shifting, and shifting points on your rev limiter.
