Default TURBO99GT!!! Please read.

Are you the one that showed up at the track with no roll cage ... or not even a helmet during the Modular shootout??? hehehe

If yes...

I remember the car was silver,... and I have been telling the stories to all my buddies around. I am very impressed with your setup. Could you please give me a list of your mods... I am thinking turbo and only turbo since I have read that article.

That was my car and we did atleast have a helmet .
At the time of the high 10 sec pass, I had the bone stock longblock, stock axles, 3.73 gears, 70 mm tb, Protorque converter(3K stall), transgo shift kit, Borla cat-back, TDC Stage II(T-76) @ 16 psi, Accel Gen VI DFI, 66 lb inj., MSD DIS 4, D&D tubular K, Coil-overs with 90/10s, AWSF22C plugs, & some other small mods that I can't remember. Also ET Drags with some Race gas. After the pass, we spoke to Job Spetter Jr, and he said the tune was safe enough to run more boost with race gas. Had they not kicked us off, the next pass would have been interesting if the engine didn't fly through the hood.

Now I have a built shortblock with P&P heads(arriving soon), 31 spline strange axles, & Eaton 31 spline carrier. I appreciate the compliments. After having both the Turbo system and a V2 S-trim on this car, the turbo is far more fun and tons quieter. I enjoy the feeling of full boost about 2,500-3K rpms. It is something you have to experience to fully appreciate. I went for a ride in a 10 sec turbo foxbody that trapped in the high 130s and the rest is history. The blower was up for sale the next week. If you need any help in putting it together, shoot me an e-mail.

What in the world did you say?

"I thought roll cages were only necessary if you are running 6's like the Pro 5.0 guys?" HAHAHAHA

Cool

Well few of us have that problem.

Marc's turbo also got a lot of daily street driven mustangers thinking about the set-up.
