Question What`s the Difference

Hey all i`m new here

i have a question what is the differences that are used on the 99 model 4.6 to get it up to 260 horse from the 98 4.6 225 i have a 98 and if possible would like to get these parts to upgrade my engine

99+ got a new set of heads. a lot of guy with 96-98 4.6L have swapped in 99+ head for the extra hp

99+ also have different intake and camshafts to go with the PI heads. I believe you actually end up with a little more hp than a 99+ when you do the swap because you end up with slightly higher compression. Do a search of previous posts - there are some folks on here who have done the swap and who know where to get the parts for the best price.

THE 99+ HEADS HAVE MORE AIR FLOW THAN THE 98 AND BELOW.
