Default Cobra motor?

I was wondering if it is possible to fit a 96-98 4.6 cobra motor into a fox-body lx, and if it is what things would i need to make it fit\work.

the mod motor is about as wide as the big block motors of the late 60's. I can't remember what you have to do to get one of those to fit, but you would have to for width, but depth should be ok.

You can put whatever you want in a Fox, even a 5.4 Lightning motor. I don't think you have to do any cutting to put a mod motor in a Fox. The 4.6 K-member will bolt right into a Fox and vice-a-versa. I think there may be an issue with the brake booster due to the extra width, though - may have to go to a newer-style setup.
