The install time for a speedo gear for someone who knows what they're doing is about 10 minutes... (much less than installing a speedcal)
My recommendation is to spend the 50-60 dollar larbor charge in your area and the 15 dollar speedo gear. Its cheaper, and you're not messing with electronics.... Speedos the better way to go, but if you want the speedcal, be my guest....

Ya...I'm thinking the gear is a better choice, too...But I'm gonna have to wait awhile...In college = ZERO cash flow (parents won't even let me get a job). The only bad thing is, the odometer is reading way high. When my speedometer reads 90 and I'm only doing 65, the odometer climbs much faster. *sigh* All this performance is making me crazy...so much to do...so little money...
