Default Need help installing bullitt goods I got today...

2002 GT 5 speed...Put on the bullitt shift bezel, the shift knob, and got the door locks, and DAMN the shifter and bezel look hot!! The door locks on the other hand seem like they can either be really easy, or really hard...They aren't just un-screw the top then screw on the chrome, they are the full thing, they are long and on the bottom have an angle i guess to actually lock and un-lock the door...Do I have to take off the door panaling for these or can I just un-screw the stock locks and pull them up? Thanks a lot!

I looked through it, and I didn't see anything relating. But you may want to check out the interior painting thread. You have to remove the plastic parts where the windows/lock controls are. Maybe you can remove the rest of the panel through there.

Door locks are easy...Ford sells the knobs w/ the accuator rod attached. All you do is unscrew the bullitt knobs from the rod, then unscrew the originals from your doors and install the new ones
