Engine Smell Question ??
Hello again, I have a new to me 98 GT. During the test drives and so on everything seemed ok as far as engine and things. Now in my 7th day of ownership I am noticing an anoying smell coming through the AC vent no matter what position the AC is on. It seems to smell like Armour All mixed with a strong tar or roadwowk kind of smell. What could possible cause this. The car has 77000 miles on it, but runs well and looks new. Any thoughts would be appreciatted before I pay through the nose at a car service place.

Check your radiator hose, make sure its tight and not leaking anywhere. Once coolent leaks you will smell it for a couple days.
