Long tubes header install on 98 GT automatic
First, Thanks to all on response awhile back on upgrade to 3.73 rear end. It went very well & performance gains are great.
I'm considering longtube headers. As with the ring & pinion I plan on doing it myself. Can anyone tell me whats involved? I've been told I have to raise the engine about 4" to get them on. Also will there be problem with ground clearance? |

I think I passed on the long tubes due to clearance problems with the auto tranny. Make sure and research this before you buy. I do know that installing the headers ( any type ) is a real pain and you should be ready to spend all day doing it!
Good luck and let us know how it goes
