Default O/D switch position

Hey guys,

Is it my imagination or is this board drying up?

OK, Here is the question: Where is the O/D switch located on the 98 GT auto? It may seem strange asking but my car has a shifter like none other and there is no O/D switch. I've looked all over for the wires and such but can't find it. Where is it located and is it just a toggle switch.

Thanks

Mine has nothing. I have a leather boot around a round carbon fiber head with a chrome push button on top. Is the switch inside the shifter bezel area? I may need to remove the entire console to search for the wires that must have been there.

On my 97 it is located on the shifter handle, just below the thumb button, it is just a pushbutton switch.

All the aftermarket shifter handles I have seen look really cool, but the O/D switch relocation kits look stupid, so obviously someone has left it down in the console to avoid the relocation kit.
