Correcting Speedo/Trans
Hey guys its been awhile since I've had a 4.6 but I'm back to the modular crowd. I'm wondering what the best way to correct the speedo and the transmission (so it shifts right). I am installing 3.73's in my 96 GT with the AODE. Just wondering how you guys did it. Thanks.

With the "4R70W" you have you can correct with a 23 tooth speedo gear from Steeda. They are not perfect and will be off by a bit ( mine is about 3-5% ) or you can get a speed cal from dallas mustang $ 100.00 or do it with a chip. You can also have the eec re-flashed for about $ 100.00.

You could also get a programmer to fix it,suxh as hypertech or superchips.I have the hypertech, and have had no problems so far.
