Default Ideas for a 00 S281 Saleen mods

My buddy just got a 2000 S281 Saleen with about 20k miles, car runs great, but just didn't seem to pull up top quite as hard as it should, so we dynoed it.
We got 273 SAE rwhp and the torque number seemed real good, don't remember exactly but ~340 seems like what I recall. Dyno room was about 75 deg, not bad with pretty low humidity. On a nice cool day I'm sure even the corrected numbers would be better. It also has the optional rims and 295 tires on the back, don't know how much that will effect the numbers. Boost go's to about 5 and then slowly climbs to 7 or so by 5800 rpm. If every thing seems about right what would be some good bang for the buck mods? Would an x-pipe and smaller pulley wake it up a bit more? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

With a roots blower, its always good to get rid of as much restriction before the supercharger as possible. I'm not sure what the specs on the S281 are, but I would want a 75mm throttle body, 90mm MAF, and a free flowing piping and filter. A X-pipe will defintely help too.
As far as adding more boost with a pulley, I would upgrade to 38# Cobra or 42# Lightning injectors and that would also be a perfect time for a Ford 90mm MAF. Put the pulley on and get it dyno-tuned with SCT software. You want to make more power, but you want to do it safely as possible.

2000 Saleens have problems holding a tune. With all bolt ons he gained 3 hp but threw the tune 3 times. Read my post on modularfords.com

I know Chicane has had some success adding more punch the SALEEN ponys.

I am guessing he has the Series II blower. If he does there is no such thing as big gains with that blower. It is crap. MY buddy had the Chacaine intake, agressive blower pulley, Longtube headers, offroad h-pipe, and was tuned and he put down 314 hp and 373 FTTQ. This was with 9lbs of boost. They told him this is about max with this blower and that he would need to go with a Series IV blower or a Kenne Bell for 400hp +. Also Saleens come with there own special computer and many shops have had problems programming these computers. They will throw an aftermarket tune after about 20 miles.

Ya, those blowers make good torque but just don't put out much top end.

Is the series II a M90 or M112?
I'm just wondering if there might be some power to be found by porting the blower. Supercoupe owners have been doing it for years, and recently the Lightning and Cobra guys have jumped aboard too.
And what about swapping in a standard Mustang GT EEC?
