Talking Catalytic Converters

Hey guys, since I live in the great state of CA, I have to ask this question before I buy my GT. Just wondering why the 2001-2003 GT has 4 catalytic converters? In other words, why so many cats, while other fast cars (camaro) only have one? Are these 4.6 engines just really nasty or what? Thanks.

Default Re: Catalytic Converters

The 96-98 has SIX! No they are not nasty, it is just a matter of how large or how much contaminates are being removed. You can remove your stock pipe and get a high flow catted pipe with approved carb # to pass CA emmissions

Gooc Luck
