HELP!! No idea what brake pads to get!
I bought a 99 Cobra modified with Cobra R Brembo calipers, and the pads are like eating into the rotors right now, they're so empty.
I ordered Hawks (HPS I think?) to replace the pads inside now, but had to send them back after my shop said they don't fit. That part# was the same one TireRack gave me: H27HB111F610. Apparently it doesn't fit. What am I missing ? I can't continue driving with these crappy brakes -- I'm gonna kill myself. Someone please help a brotha out ? |

Re: HELP!! No idea what brake pads to get!
I tried -- Brembo wouldn't help me directly, they told me to call a distributor (i.e TireRack). I called TireRack and got the same part# that I had to return earlier for non-fitment. Any suggestions?

Did you try calling Hawk and ask them. That is crappy that Brembo will not help you.

I would recommend the Hawk HPS that they have here for street use:
