bbk underdrive pulleys drag only?
Hey guys I have been looking into some of the bbk underdrive pulleys for my 96 mustang gt. But I have been reading up on them and many people have said to just use them on the dragstrip because regular use will make your engine to overheat. So I figured I would check with the people that know what there talking about and that is stang maniacs.
thanks, monroe gt Last edited by monroegt; 05-29-2005 at 02:58 PM.. |

Re: bbk underdrive pulleys drag only?
if your going to do the pullies go with the steeda's , the bbk's are piggy back stlye and some people believe they can do damage to the engine, by causing vibration.
as far as over heating , i had mine on for over a yr and never had any problems.

I had a set of FRPP pullies on the 98 GT and never had a problem...

Re: bbk underdrive pulleys drag only?
I would get either Steeda or SLP. FRPP would be my third choice. I would get them over the other two if I got a good deal. Funny how some after-market companies make better stuff than others. For gears, I say FRPP for example.
As far as over-heating, you should be fine.
