Did you look at the application guide at flex-a-lite.com?
Looks like the 180 Black Magic extreme will work on a 96 Mustang 4.6... http://www.flex-a-lite.com/auto/html...c_x-treme.html (The application guide is linked right underneath the pic if you click the link)
