Automatic to Standard Transmition
My 88GT currently has an automatic transmition. All I have done with my GT is cold air, headers and exaust. Is it worth the time and trouble to swap to a standard transmission? I prefer standard, there is nothing like banging through the gears. BUT....there is the expense thing and alot of guys say and auto is quicker racing. I was just wanting someone esles two cents on the subject.
Thanks for the opinions. KG88GT |

98 or 88 GT?
Not that it matters on the transmission preference question but this is a modular section .... |

Re: Automatic to Standard Transmition
Check out Monster Transmissions. They make a special four-speed AODE racing transmission for 79-93 Mustangs that comes with bell housing and torque convertor..They're very highly rated rebuilt trannys and can handle an enormous amount of HP.
