Considering what you should be running stock: 260hp and near even 14s...
and add in your current mods, you really shouldn't have too far to go to get the numbers you are looking for. Of course, make sure you've done the easy mod, a K&N Filter. Word on the street is that you should leave your air silencer on though... Depending on how much you're willing to spend, a cold air or K&N filtercharger kit might give you a some extra horses also. I recommend against most ram air kits because of how close the air scoops are to the ground. If it is a daily driver, your air scoop could meet up with an immovable object..;-) Switching to 3.73 or 4.10 gears might help a bit more than your stock 3.27s. Also a reliable short throw shifter will help more than you think.. Throw in some drag radials for the track and a good launch, you should be close to the numbers you are looking for... Remember, a good launch can make all the difference in an ET... What numbers are you currently running at the track? ------------------ 98 GT Dyno-Max cat-back exhaust, 3.73 gears, Steeda shifter, Ford Motorsport Underdrive pullies, 87mm MAF and Roush cold air kit... |

The best performance mod I made to my 99 was the Bassani X pipe with cats. You can get them for around $375. Excellent workmanship and it gives the car a real exotic exhaust sound even with the factory mufflers. went from mid 97mph to 100.69 mph.

I was under the impression that engines with SOHC or DOHC do not have rockers.

They don't. Get some gears and you should be fairly close.

I know my car doesn't have any rockers, but if you get some gears and upper and lower control arms, I'll bet you'll be damn close to 13.40's or 13.30's.
