Superchip??????
Do you think it would be a good next mod since my car is not stock any longer? I know the superchip is not beneficial to add to a stocker, but with the mods I have done, would it be something that would be worth the money? If not, then what are some suggestions for a next mod(short of N2O or a S/C.
March U/D pulleys are going on this weekend. Don't they program those chips for your specific car(year,model,mods...)? ------------------ '96 GT 5-speed,K&N air filter,Roush Cold Air kit,80mm MAF,Mac Cat-Back,Mac Pro Chamber H-Pipe, FMS 3.73's, FMS 70mm TB, Steeda Tri-ax T-Bone's '96 GT |

A custom chip isn't a bad idea, but I have heard horror stories (from timing problems to blown engines) from superchips or anywhere that doesn't actually SEE your car. If a chip is destined to be your next mod, I would have one custom burned by somewhere local (if possible).
Just my opinion... ------------------ 98 GT Bassani X-pipe, Dyno-Max Cat backs, 3.73 gears, Steeda shifter, FMS pullies, 87mm MAF, Roush cold air kit, Eibach springs, and Zex 75 shot |
