Bummed out in Baltimore
I'm the happy and proud owner of a 1999 GT with which I've been planning to play with real soon in the way of mods. For now, however, I have to wait for it's return from the body shop.
Yep, got broadsided. The car took a hit at the passenger door and quarter panel. The right rear 17" wheel took a good hit, too. Here's what I'm wondering: What should I be on the look out for as far as passing judgement on my own about whether the rear end was damaged? My concern is something cropping up after the car has left the repair shop. ------------------ Rick _________________________ '99 GT with K&N filter (Don't know what else I want to do with it - yet.) |

Sorry to hear about the wreck.....I had that happen to a $50K 1 ton Ford Crew Cab Dually that had 600 miles on it. Sold it right after it was fixed. My advice is to get the car fixed and get rid of it if you can. You'll always wonder if something will go wrong after taking a hit like that and even if they are repaired properly it will never be the same to you..........
