Underdrive=undercharge?
Do those of you who have underdrive pulleys notice things like headlights dimming when at an idle, and brightening up when your revs come up? Also, does the A/C work as well with pulleys? Thanks for the info...

yep. its an inevitable consequence of underdrives. you'll also be noticing your fan coming on much more and your battery budget going way up.

No problems with mine so far. I have a 700 Watt stereo system and have no undercharging problems. Since I never ran my A/C before installing the pulleys, I'm not sure how they affect that. But, there is definitely a power loss when I kick on the A/C.

Underdrive's suck on the 32 valve. Not worth the agony and litte crap, like the previously examples mentioned, i.e., lights, battery, etc.

I have some friends that have had good results with Steeda pulleys on DOHCs. It probably varies from brand to brand.

I was once all gung-ho about getting underdrives, but now I think I have changed my mind. It just sounds like you have to sacrifice reliability and your electrical system's ability to function properly for just a few horsepower.
