I have been looking into gears for my 2000 GT auto. You will NEED a chip to compensate for the speedo and shift points. I am getting mine through Johnson Motorsports. They can also adjust rev limit, shift firmness (negating the need for shift kit). The chip can be removed prior to taking car to dealer for warranty work as well. Cost is about 300.00. There really is NO other choice with an auto....and for those that are wondering an Abbott will not work with an auto. Hope this helped.
