Question traction

I've got a 99 cobra, it's my first sports car and I am absoutly in love. While I'm still learning how to drive the thing I am wondering. What mods could I do other than tires to get a better grip on the road?
-Thanks-

That's about it. Maybe locking your rear end differential for posi instead of limited slip. I think that would run you about $230 if you installed it yourself, but I think it would be a bit of work without a lift. Hope I'm not steering ya wrong. Anyone else have ideas?

Cool

Subframe connectors for starters. Also look into some suspension kits. Global West, Steeda, Kenny Brown, IPS Chassis, and Griggs are some suspension companies that you could look into to. Panhard bar, upper and lower control arms in the rear. Shocks and struts. What are you going to do with the car? Drag race, road race, daily driver, what? Hope this helps.

I would like to keep this as my daily driver. I was wondering if there was anything called a traction bar?

Get rid of the IRS and put an 8.8 in there for starters.

Since it's going to be your daily driver, don't remove the IRS. I would add Nitto D/Rs and 4.10 gears. Most guys I know are running 4.30s & 4.56 gears, but that's more for the track. The 4.10s should put a smile on your face. Enjoy the car before you start doing any other mods. Tuning is a nightmare on the 99-up.

Are you looking more for straight line or more road racing auto-X type of handling?

Cool

Short answer on SALEEN suspension kit: Yes.

There are better/cheaper out there though.

You'll have to do some research on suspension set-ups. Don't settle on the NIKE of aftermarket stuff.
