ABS light acting weird
Have folks...got a real head scratcher here. I've got a 96 GT and the ABS light comes on sometimes. No particular pattern Sometimes it comes on at start-up, sometimes in the middle of a drive. The brakes still function well. The light goes out sometimes and sometimes it will stay on until the car is shut off. Any advice or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

This may sound strange, but try taking the slave cylinder cap off and reseating it. I did it to my buddy's Integra and no more light. Good luck!

No change...but thanks for the tip. One of the first things that I checked with the fluid levels and such. I had that problem with a 92 Ranger I used to have and it was always the fluid level.
Thanks again, |
