I need some ideas guys
I know stock '99 GT's run low 14's ... Well any ideas on what one would run with : FRPP Headers, 2 1/2" Off Road H-Pipe, DynoMax Ultra-Flo Cat-back, BBK cold air kit, and 3.73's ?
Thanks in advance guys |

I also have a 99GT but before doing any of the installations you mention I decided to upgrade the suspension first.
Now that I had done the suspension I installed the 3:73 and underdrive pulleys, lets keep in touch of how our mods goes. ------------------ |

I saw a guy with roughly the same setup at Sears Point run a 13.5 on street tires with a soft launch.

Thanks guys, I haven't got one yet I was just doing some checking on what it would take to make one run with an LS1 . I almost bought a '99 Z28 6-speed a month back, but I know I really want to stay loyal to Mustangs . So for now I will still be driving my '92 GT while I search for a '99 or '00 that I like . I really want a Yellow one, but they only made those in '99 right ?
Thanks again ------------------ '92 GT,B-303,70mm T-Body,73mm C&L MAF,Accel Cap-Rotor-wires,K&N,BBK Cold Air Kit,Superchip,Off-Road H-Pipe,DynoMax Turbo Tube Cat-Back,Hays clutch,Hurst shifter,3.73's,245/50/16 Nitto 555 Extreme Drags,and NOS Stage 2 kit-100 shot |

Read my sig, it shows my best ET and what I have done to car at that point. Basically its stock, and launch at 3500. I have added BBK X-pipe and underdrive pullys but wont know the gains from them untill April 1st when track opens.
As for a new stang in yellow. Ford offers a zinc yellow on the '01's buts its a nasty yellow, '99 may been last year for chrome yellow. ------------------ 2000 GT Laser red-5speed MAC Cold-air Induction MAC 2 1/2" cat back exhuast 275/50-15 Drag T/A's used at track Best Quarter mile run to date: 13.50@99.97 (1.87 60') |

Should be in 13.4-13.5 range... I run low 13.7, and a best of 13.69 with mine.
BTW, screw the BBK cold air kit... just take the head light off on passenger side. It gives you .2 on the quarter. ------------------ Lizard King Stock, Bone Stock; 13.69@101MPH • Burnout: ttp://members.mustangworks.com/lizardking/extremeburnout2.mpg • 2000GT LS1 ttp://members.mustangworks.com/lizardking/MustangVSLS1.mpg • Quartermile 13.9@82MPH <A HREF="http://members.mustangworks.com/lizardking/quartermile.mpg" |
