My '96 Saleen
Hey guys,
Here's a question regarding my 1996 S281 Saleen Mustang. About a month ago, my intake manifold cracked on me and I got it fixed. Since then, my car has been backfiring alot. On top of that, the car's throttle response has been bad too. Any suggestions on how to fix these problems? Thanks guys.. - Mike |

The new intake was installed 2 months ago (end of Feb.). I didn't noticed the horrible backfiring until I revved the car up to 4000+ rpms (after installing some underdrive pulleys), which was 2 weekends ago. My brother was with me and he couldn't believe how bad the car was backfiring. He looked at the exhaust to see if any smoke was coming out (thinking there might be a leak) but it was clear.
If you need more information, please let me know.. :-) Thanks, - Mike |
