My very first time was a few weeks ago, and I felt like a kid again! My car is an auto, but I still did really well...got into the 13s twice! What whopping great fun!
![]() Ok, so with an auto, launching is a no-brainer. I don't see how you guys do it with manuals. How on earth do you rev the car, hold in the clutch, AND keep the car from creeping forward? I've driven manuals for many years, but I think I would totally stink at drag racing one. I'm going again June 9. ------------------ "Back in the day" owned a '66 289 and later a black '68 289. Current - '00 white GT w/K&N and Flowmasters. Otherwise bone stock. ET-13.952@98.87 RT-.507 60'-2.09 Son #1 - '87 GT stock Son #2 - '89 LX 5.0 stock |
