Shortening the throw??
I'd like to shorten the 5-speed throw on my '98 stang, there's all kinds of shift kits, but i don't want to pay a lot, do you guys have any suggestions, i'm not planning to race the car but just want quicker shifts??

The only real way to do it is a shifter.
The Steeda Tri-Ax and the Pro-5.0 are the two most popular. They go far around $180, altough you may be able to find one cheaper if you shop around. Installation is easy. |
