![]() Launching the 4.6 DOHC even with a live axle is a bit of an art, much less with an IRS. Motortrend (I think) pulled a 13.5 @ 105.xx. Car and Driver and Road and Track were a bit off that.
Quick and dirty after some practice and break in time there will probably be some guys running high 12s bone stock. Depending on the track and conditions and skill I'd except the "typical bone stock time" to be in the 13.3-13.5 range. Basically pretty darn quick once you get the launch down. It really depends on all sorts of factors, but the new Cobras seem to be on par with the Z28 and Trans-Ams. (The SS and WS6 are deffently cooler, but really not significantly faster) |
