Short Throw Shifter Problem
So, I ordered a short throw shifter from summit racing and its made by fidanza. I put my car in the shop to have it put in and they said it went about an inch into the transmission. So they couldnt do it. The site says it fits my car and T-5 transmissions. I dont know for sure what transmission I have but I figured it would be just like the rest of them. Anyone else have this problem? Thanx,

Re: Short Throw Shifter Problem
you probably had the same issue i had with my 03 GT. i was under the assumption that i had a t45 tranny. I found out later after i bought my B&M shifter that the 01-04 GTs came with a TR3650 tranny. I had mine installed and everything and could not figure out why it would not work. i did some research on it to see if anyone else had a similar problem and thats what it was. get yourself a shifter for a TR3650 and that should do the trick. good luck to ya and let me know how it goes.
