I'm new to Mustangs, Question about alignment after Lowering
I've been driving Miatas & Corvettes for the past 10 years, Recently picked up a 2003 GT.
I'm thinking about lowering it with the "Bullit" suspension kit from "StangSuspension". Should I keep the stock alignment specs or go more agressive for straight-line tracking ? I have no problem if I have to rotate the tires every 5k for wear. |

Re: I'm new to Mustangs, Question about alignment after Lowering
For a mild daily driver that you want to turn better I'd max out the positive caster if you have stock plates (-5 or -6 degrees is good if you can get it with the stock plates) and go with -3/4 to -1 degree of negative camber. This will improve the cornering grip in the front and the camber curve and not mess with tire wear too much, which are both good things since in stock form Mustangs tend to push. If you're just looking to go straight then the stock alignment should be fine.
