Question Cold Air Intake

I was thinking about putting a cold air intake system on my 2001 GT. Does this do anything besides look nice.
Will I get the same results from the K&N.
I want to get more from this thing, not tht it's doing bad to begin with.

You'll get some more performance out of the cold air kit. Not sure what you'd see, at the most maybe 10 HP.

I agree that 10 is probably the MOST you'd see. But I'd say you should get around a 5 hp gain.

From what I read, you can gain about 3-5hp with the cold air as opposed to 2-3hp with the K&N OEM style replacement.

If you get the 'complete to throttle body 'kit it will be give you more power than just the filter because it is a straight inlet pipe as opposed to the rubber factory inlet which has a lot of bends and other restrictions in it.
