Fork in the 4.6 performance road
Hello, what is prompting this is getting ripped a new a$$hole by another stang. But I am a stuck on weather to get a mac offroad h pipe (not prochamber) for 109 and a set of pullies for 159 or a bassani h o/r h pipe for 299. I care about sound but performance is so so much more important to me. Which would perform better in the short run and in the long run. These are my first mods beside the obligatory K&N. Any advice?

I would get:
3.73 Gears Motorsport Pulleys Bassani X-pipe w\cats (in case you ever move to an emissions-testing city) Steeda Tri-Ax Shifter In that order... The gears will get you in the power band faster, the pulleys will give you a few horses, the x-pipe will give you a few more horses, and the shifter will prevent most of those GRRRIIIIND, "whoops!" problems... ------------------ Adam "Hammer" Packett: Moderator, Gulf War Veteran GO GET 'EM BOYS! |

Hey I Hate Rice, just out of curiosity, is your car auto or 5 spd? What do you run in the quarter because my car is basically the same as yours except mine is not a convertible and I wan't to know if my weak time of 15.37 at 89 mph is the best my car can do.
