Post Borla or Bassani (dumb question?)

What's a better sounding exhaust Borla or Bassani? Does'nt Steeda use Bassani? I want a deep rumbling sound that does'nt drone while cruising. Any ideas? Should I put a hi-flo cat system on my '01 GT or just the muffler system and a K&N? I am looking for more hp as well as a nice exhaust note.

Thumbs up

I have never heard Bassani but I have Borla pipes on my 96GT and I think they sound good. They are not super aggressive like Flows would be but I like them. There is no drone at cruising speeds either. They will get louder when I switch out my hpipe for an off-road pipe. Click on my sig. and you can hear a fairly representative sound clip.

Have a good one,
Brett

An off road H-pipe makes a big difference in power over the stock H-pipe. Definately worth the investment!

If you are just looking at cat-back exhaust systems, don't look for any extra power... that comes when you replace the restrictive H-pipe and cats...

As far as your original question, the Borlas sound better but are more expensive than almost anything else on the market...
