Question bolt on stuff hp gains

HEY OUT THERE I HAVE A 96 4.6 2V. I PURCHASED A FORD RACING T'BODY,MAC COLD AIR IND. KIT,STEEDA UNDER DRIVE PULLEYS WITH A CUSTOM FLOMASTER EXHAUST THAT SOUNDS TUFF. WHAT KIND OF EST. HP GAIN CAN I EXPECT. THIS IS THE FIRST CAR THAT I AM GOING TO TOY WITH SO THIS NEW TO ME. I WORK IN A GM/FORD STORE AND THE FORD TECHS SAY NOT TO MESS WITH THE ELECTRONICS ON THE CAR LIKE A SUPER CHIP. IS THIS TRUE. CAN I PUT A CHIP IN IN THIS CAR WITH OUT ANY PROBLEMS. BUSH SAID SPEND SO I WILL THROW MONEY AT THIS CAR. THANKS FOR ANY TIME ANY ONE GIVES ME. GOD BLESS AMERICA.

Welcome to the board! I would expect to see about 15-20hp gain with the parts that you listed.
As for messing with your computer, standard chips that you can buy generally don't do much for you. Custom chips burned to match your mods are the best way to go and I see no problem with them.
