Re: trans gear ratios
After an extensive 1 second search on Google, I clicked on the first link it provided, which happens to be the manufacturers home page.
What do you know, complete information including gear ratios.... http://www.ttcautomotive.com/English...cts/tremec.asp |

Re: trans gear ratios
That's why we love Unit....Straight to the point with only a minor after taste of the sarcasism that was just swallowed, with just a hint of bs.

Re: trans gear ratios
Yes I also found that info but it shows that both Trans have about the same gear ratios yet I noted a dermatic change in pull so could ford t45 have different ratio's then listed.

Re: trans gear ratios
Are you talking about 5th gear or every gear where it doesn't seem to pull as hard?

Re: trans gear ratios
no only the first three gears. I am considering going back to 3650 or to a t56 I heard that 3650's don't hold up as well..

Re: trans gear ratios
3650's are MUCH better than a weak T-45. If you have the cash flow, get the T-56 and be done with it. No question about it. T-56 all the way.

Re: trans gear ratios
If you go with a T-56 definitely change the rear gears out for something steeper because they have a tall 1st gear. I like my 4.10s with the T-56.
