Angry My Poor Baby

Well last tuesday I was on my way to work going around a turn (it was raining) when i lost control of my car at about 30mph (not speeding) & slammed it into a few kurbs where it eventually came to rest 1/2 on kurb/grass, 1/2 on the street. There was no body damage butttttttttttt one the wheels popped, cracked the rim and broke clean off the axle. Another tire was cambered in, and a 3rd tire was cracked with a popped rim. I have already purchased new rims and tires and will be getting a used rear end for it is cheaper than a new axle. Hope nothing else is wrong with it as its already costing me 1500. Wish my car luck.

Default curbs=bad

was it a straight up n down curb or a curved one? I hope it was a curved one, I totalled a car driving straight into a curb - half the car was on the grass half the car on the road, front tires took the brunt of the impact but it bent the frame = totalled

Shouldn't of tried to get away from the po po!

the car went sideways into the kurb (straight kurb, not round) at about 25mph. The tires and rims and axle took the brunt of the impact.

Make sure to have the tierods checked and suspension checked. I have a 79 Firbird that slid into a curb during an ice storm few years ago at 15mph and bent a tierod and only dinged the rim.

Thanks for all the support. I hope she's ok. I will find out Friday. If nothing else is wrong I will have the car driving again Friday with 96' cobra rims and 3.73's.
