Question cold air induction...which one??

Hi everyone. Father's day is just around the corner, so I was thinking about gifts. I could really use a cold air induction kit for my 93GT (140K miles..runs even better than the day I drove it off the dealer!). I'm looking at the BBK, K&N and MAC products. I have a stock intake and TB and I don't do the track either, but I want more of a kick. Any suggestions or recommendations on which one I should consider?
Thanks!

MAC fits the best. I've heard BBK fits like crap.

Cool

I have the mac cold air fender kit. It went on really easy and fits real well but to be honest with you. I did not notice much of a performance gain. But they look great that is the main reason that I got one Good Luck

I agree that Mac is better, definatley go with the fenderwell kit, because if you dont, you will be getting hot air from the engine compartment, and you couldnt really call it a cold air kit then could ya, and for the guy who made the previous reply, when you change intake, you wont see much gains until you change your exhaust, they go hand in hand....

I have the Moroso kit, and it went in very well. I spent about $90 two years ago. I did not notice any real performance gains, but it cleaned up the engine compartment.

i wouldnt get the k & n if i was u they are full of crap about performance gains. i have the mac fenderwell and it almost pulled a tenth of my quater mile but i think the bbk looks a little cooler and is the exact same thing but for the sme price u can buy a bbk 65 mm throttle body or a set of bbk underdrive pulleys and get a better gain

Do it yourself bro! That's what I did...I made a cold air intake for 18 bucks!!! (plus $40 for the K&N) Your daddy will be so proud that you made something for him and the good thing is you don't have to tell him it only cost $18. As far as performance, if you do yours right, the same performance should be gained from those brand name kits (minus the shiny chrome of course). If you think about it, your really paying for the MAF that comes with those kits. You dont need another MAF, just use the stock one! Just a suggestion. Good luck.
