Default 86 GT gear chose 4.10 or 3.73

I have an 86 gt thats worked and dyno at 400 hp. i have the 15 inch weld draglites and they are 15x9 and the tire are 15x265x40s i like to keep the sleeper look, so i can wip *** on those 4cyl at the lights. I wanted to go with 4.10 will it be good for wht i have and will it make a difference. thanks alot.

I would go with the 4.10's but if your tires/suspension can't handle the torque, then all you'll do is spin the tires.

As long as your motor has a strong high RPM powerband and can rev strong to 6500 or so, go with the 4.10's Since you have 400 HP this should work out. If your motor noses down after 5,000 rpms, the 4.10's will probably slow you down at the big end, as you will run out of power before the finish line comes.
