i'm looking to buy some new gears (3.73) for my 98' gt. Anybody know where i can get some good deals? I've got somebody who can do it, i just need the parts.

Try tp pick up a copy of Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords or 5.0 Mustang magizines. They have tons of advertisers that offer great deals on common parts such as gears.
Try www.gefracing.com They ususally have great deals on FRPP products.

Ordered mine from http://www.jegs.com , they also through in a bottle of Friction Modifier Lube to add in with the fluid. I don't remember what I paid, I think what the other guy said (about 180 something)... Mine are FRPP Gear set

Got the Speedo Gear from Steeda..

Look around. If you take your time and shop you should be able to get a set for under $190.
