supercharger question
hey i got 2000 mustang gt and i was woundering what is a good supercharger and how many psi i can go with stock engine before it blows ?

Vortech, Paxton and Procharger are all good systems. I'd stay away from Powerdyne though. With the PI-headed 2000 2-valve motor, you can safely go with a 10-12 psi system assuming that you have it properly tuned. All these systems will have a canned programmer included. These are terrible, off-the-shelf programs and will leave the car running fat and slow. Order the 'tuner' kit and find a reputable local shop to do the actual tuning. Don't know where you're at in NJ, but I'd contact Jimmy Larocca's shop out near Englishtown Raceway Park.
