![]() If you get the saleen;s all you have to do is roll your fenders any local shop can probably do it but make sure they have the tools so they don't screw up your paint

![]() Thanks for the response Monroe. I am not sure what you mean "roll your fenders". I am actually Asian and my love for Mustangs was from way back when I was a kid. This is my first one and at the age of 48. Please explain. Thanks again.

![]() What I meen about rolling your fenders is a shop or you if you have the tools warms your fender as not to crack your paint and basically bends the inside of the fender so that if you hit a bump or a pot hole your tire will not get sliced by the lip on the fender. You would only have to do this if you get a bigger than stock size rim. And i'm not sure if you would have to even do this or not you would have to ask some people on this site that have gone with the 18's I have not got my saleen rims yet and have not looked into it. But that is what I meen by roll your fenders.

![]() I have 18x9 & 18x10.5 AFS chrome 03/04 Cobra wheels on my Mach 1. With 275/35 & 295/35 Toyo Proxes T1-S and do not have any rubbing issues that would even remotely require rolling the fenders... you definitely have the room for the big wheels as long as you don't mount truck tires to them; rather, as long as you use a 35 series tire. And, yes, my Mach is lowered approx. 1.7" via H&R SS springs.
I like all three of your picks, so that's ultimately up to you... although the FR500 wheels do look really sharp!! But, it'd be nice to have the extra width out back. ![]() ![]() |
