Post 5.8L swap for 5.4L

I've got a 1993 E150 conversion van with a 5.8l/ e40d tranny and it's been rebuilt, cam-heads-roller rockers-1 5/8 headers-etc doing close to 400hp. A buddy of mine wants to swap a 5.4l for my 5.8l to go into my E150. Is this possible, and if so what wil I have to change or modify, and is it worth it? I think the 5.4l is out a wrecked 97 E250 cargo van.

Thanks I will keep my rebuilt 5.8L. The 5.8 is done but not in the van, I found a 1995 lightning E40D I'm rebuilding to go with the 5.8

My next project, i'm going to stuff a 1989 351w into my 1988 LSC. I've already taken the air ride off and put coil springs in. Punching the 5.8 out to 30 over, roller cam & lifter/ roller rockers/ headers /etc, not sure if I want blower or not.

Default 4.6l sohc vs 5.8l 351W

I picked up a all original 1994 Thunderbird 4.6l auto. My buddies are building fox bodies and Camaros' and pickups for the street strip racing. I might indulge, thinking of the better engine to race with 4.6 or 351w roller, and what the problems would be (it Has a 4.6 in it now). Any info or upcoming problems to look for?
