Re: What is the best shifter for my t-5
If you bought a 'new' Mustang, then the trans is a T-45. No matter though as the T-5 & T-45 use the same shifter. Pro-5.0, Steeda Tri-Ax, B&M Ripper and UPR Blue Thunder are all good shifters. You just need to look at them all and decide which has the features you want.

Re: What is the best shifter for my t-5
You really should try each shifter out for yourself...on other peoples vehicles of course. My personal experience with the 5.0 shifter was that it was a tad too short on the stick and "clicky". I used the 5.0 on my LX for many years with no problems. After going modular, I went with the Steeda...I am also happy with it. Both are proven winners...

I bought the Pro-5.0, love it, stong & short shifts. Haven't missed third since I bought it 8 months ago, missed 5th while racing a '96 Lt1 Z at 115 mph, beat me once, beat him once(interstate racing).
