just got a 96 cobra vert... what should i do???
hey guys, i just got a 96 cobra and i was wondering what mods i should do to it. my plans are to first get a borla catback with a k&n filter and a bassani offroad x pipe, and then get a chip. what do you guys think? i'm hoping that those mods will get me to roughly 340hp at the crank. what else do you guys think i should do? i'm not crazy about gears because i do a lot of highway driving, so what else? i have about $2500 for mods b/c i got a good deal on the car. thanks for the advice!!!

You are close to having enough money to buy a blower - I'd save a little more and get one. All the bolt-ons really add up to alot of money for the mod motors, so bang for the buck a supercharger is your best bet.

I think the exhaust and chip will get you to 340 at crank. Don't belive what the adds say about HP gains though. It will sound better and run better but the blower is the way to go. 2800 bucks and you are in the 400+ HP range!

Steeda underdrive pulleys make a noticable gain and are fairly easy to install.
