Default Headswap heads are here, got a few ?

I bought a set of used 2000 PI heads for my 97 (they have been checked for pressure and warping). I'm going to have them ported and have oversize valves, hd springs, and cams installed at the same time.

1. What specs should I be looking for out of a cam? staying NA for now
2a. Will LTs be any less of a pain in the azz to install during the headswap?
or
2b. Can the existing exhaust manifolds be port matched?
3. Do I need 97 or 00 head gaskets?
4. The heads came with the oem cam and cam gear, do I use the 97 or 00 cam gear?
5. I've heard that you can use Manley custom length valves instead of using lash caps and shims with regrinds, anyone else heard this?

That's all I can think of......for now
