Friends 03 Cobra track time.
His car has 1000 miles on it and still has the temp tag in it. Bone stock and with the radials it comes with it ran a 12.82 @ 110. I cant wait to see what it does with the mods he is going to do with it.

Always thought you should wait!
Somewhere LONG ago I was told that you shouldn't puch the engine until after the first "few" thousand miles. Something about piston seals seating blah, blah? Guess that isn't true in "new" cars! Good to know.....
03 Cobra, brand new, with no mods pulling a 12.82 @ 110. Damn. Something tells me there is a reason I have stayed away from the big boy toys! I think that would turn me into a compulsive unsafe street racer...LOL Thanks for the warning! Mmmm, Have they released the Mach 1 body style yet? I'm feeling me and a Cobra could be a beautiful thing! Jennifer aka Jane of all Trades |

Hi everyone I haven't been around in a while, because my 88GT was stolen. So I went and bought an 03 Cobra. I have spent some time at another forum also.
Anyways those are awesome times, the car isn't even broke in yet. Mine didn't break in until about 3,000 miles. I ran it with BBK X-pipe, Flowmaster cat-back and K&N filter (stock air box, stock tires) and ran 12.47@114 (2.04 60'). There was more in it. These cars are amazing. MI winter has my car in a stranglehold until spring though. Then the Lightning pulley, chip, and drag radials find their way onto the car. Jason

ATTENTION '03 COBRA OWNERS: Lighting Blower pulley is an awesome mod for your cars. It adds nearly 50 rwhp and only costs about $120. MM&FF alredy ran 11's with one.

THAT'S IT! I cant stand all this 03 Cobra talk anymore. I'm going to the dealer tomorrow to buy the yellow vert Well, I wish I could. But I might if the payments are right. Do those Lightning pulleys work on GT's as well (Please say yes, please say yes)?
