Has anyone heard the SLP loudmouth exhaust on newer model mustangs? I have an 03 and am curious if anyone is using this setup or knows where I can get a sound clip of this system on a mustang. Thanks all!!

SLP, of course, was the major performance part maker for GM's F body. My brother has this system on his Z-28 and it sounds unbelieveable.

You can download a movie clip and sound (interior only) of this system on a Mustang at:

http://www.lmperformance.com/3513/50.html

The system does not use traditional mufflers and the entire Cat-Back is less than $350.

Thanks for the reply. It sounds very similar to the magnapacks that I currently have on mine. They sound almost identical at idle, but their is slightly more pop on the rev up.

I work at a Ford Dealership and I had to work on a 03 cobra
The exhaust sounded great when i put the car on the lift .When i raised it up and looked at the exhaust i noticed it wasnt factory.
I didnt think anything of it except that exhaust note.It wasnt until
I got home and looked through one of my mustang mags I put 2 and 2 together and realized that it was the SLP loudmouth catback exhaust.Someone bought the car put the exhaust on it and could not make the payments and it was repo ed and the car is back at the dealership. Everyone by us calls that cobra THE LOUD ONE

SLP is trying to get me to sell those, but I have a hard time trying to justify me selling something that was first used on a F-body. It just doesn't seem right to me. They just jumped on the bandwagon, more or less.
Anyway, tell me what you think. Later.

More competition + high quality parts = better prices for the consumer.
The are known throughout the F-body world as providing high quality parts and very good service. They even rent out Englishtown raceway as a customer appreciation day. I think its great they're making parts.
